EU referendum: Queen asks guests to give her three reasons why Britain should remain in Europe
The Queen has been canvassing opinion on the EU debate by asking dinner companions: "Give me three good reasons why Britain should be part of Europe."
Her Majesty's biographer, Robert Lacey, reported the Queen's comments and suggested they may mean the Queen favours withdrawal from the European Union.
Buckingham Palace would neither confirm nor deny that the Queen had been debating the merits of Brexit in private, but royal sources pointed out that the words attributed to the Queen were "a question not a statement".
However the leading nature of the alleged question adds weight to previous claims that the Queen would like Britain to pull out of the EU.
Last month the press regulator found that the Sun newspaper had been guilty of "significantly misleading" its readers when it printed the headline "Queen backs Brexit" above a story about the Queen complaining about Brussels to Nick Clegg.

Camerron: Indomitable Lions> How Rigobert Song fell
Jean-Paul Akono had tried to withdraw him the captain's armband, without success.
When Paul Le Guen takes the head of technical supervision of the Lions, he has a good idea of the ills plaguing the national team: indiscipline and especially the negative influence of certain players who took the national team hostage . They impose their choices to coaches, do what they want, in short, is the mess. Samuel Eto'o, undisputed and indisputable star of this team is no stranger to this disorder. But what Lions coach can he bring himself to part with that which some present as the best striker in the world? Le Guen, he has his own ideas on the matter.
Lions new coach prefers to Eto'o in front of his responsibilities. It proposes to entrust the captaincy. For, as such, it would be childish for him to continue in the discipline, even though its role is to lead by example. When the French coach made the proposal to the Inter player, in solidarity with his "friend" Song, he declines the offer initially. Le Guen insists. The "Pichichi" relented.
Before Paul Le Guen, the group of coaches set up following the resignation of Otto Pfister has also attempted to deprive Song cuff. Without success. Jean-Paul Akono and Martin Ndtoungou, when they arrive in the Lions coaching staff, have the ambition to make from some players and "rejuvenate the team." Song and Geremi Njitap, among others, are in their sights.
To settle the case Rigobert Song, they want to entrust the captaincy to Eto'o. But Otto Pfister spills the beans. During the training course held in Belgium before the game against Morocco, Samuel Eto'o, in a meeting, gets up and starts furiously: "I have told anyone that I wanted to be captain. It does not interest me ! "" The anti 9-4-8 Plan "is disemboweled. Therefore, the atmosphere between coaches and some players tightens.
Rigobert Song keeps his captaincy. A position he had obtained following an election at the end of which he defeated Marc Vivien Foe. It took the arrival of Paul Le Guen to debunk. By withdrawing his captaincy to "Magnan," the coach of the Lions hit on the head. And under the principle that who can do more can do less, Geremi Njitap, Modeste Mbami, etc. now know that we must fight hard to have its place in selection ... Starting with hold club.
