Cameroon: New laser-armed Chinese helicopter tested by army…to better fight Boko Haram!

The first trial was done Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016 in the locality of Tchabal in Ngaoundere.

The Cameroonian air force just completed the testing of its new laser helicopters acquired recently from the

Chinese army. Under the supervision of the air force Parton, Brigadier General Jean Claude Momha, the crew conducted shooting missiles and ammunition from a distance of about 1 km on the target shooting camp of Tchabal the outskirts of the town of Ngaoundere.

The new equipment of the Cameroonian army equipped with laser or infrared, is capable of neutralizing the enemy with precision in the day as at night.

These lasers will give more to the Cameroonian army in war more than a year against the Nigerian Islamic sect, Boko Haram, in the Extreme North region. The latest statistics from the spokesman of the Cameroon
government, indicated that Cameroon would have lost more people in this war in January 2016 than in the entire 2015.

The use of suicide bombings by Boko Haram in the attacks, forces the armed forces involved in the war to change strategies. We must find ways to dislodge the enemy from hiding.
